Size ranges from 6 to 12 meters.
Copa globosa and slightly branched. Displays evergreen leaves with simple, glabrous and semimembranáceas. It blooms from May to August, with very small flowers, honey and arranged in rounded clusters. Its fruits attract many bird species.
Moderate growth.
Species with ornamental appearance, can be used in afforestation of narrow streets. It adapts well to moist soil and can also be used in the regeneration of riparian forests.
Species of birds that attracts: thrushes, tanagers, among others.
